After having played for 3 minutes, Allan Toledo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Tiririca FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wellington Lopez should have stopped the shot. 14 minutes into the game, Tiririca FC's Cipriano Dantas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Virgílio Freire made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Cipriano Dantas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Virgílio Freire tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Allan Toledo kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Victor Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgílio Freire having to interfere. Tiririca FC's Wellington Lopez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldo Favoretto in the 29th minute of play. The supporters of Apucarana SC booed when Tiririca FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Acácio Meireles didn't get a good kick on the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Reinaldo Brasil notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Tiririca FC's Wellington Lopez. Virgílio Freire showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Queirós in the 52nd minute of the match. Victor Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgílio Freire having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Dantas in the 55th minute of play forced Apucarana SC's goalkeeper Virgílio Freire to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victor Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute Apucarana SC were awarded a corner. Reinaldo Brasil went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Apucarana SC's corner Sílvio Luiz Brodel fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Wellington Lopez quite easily take care of the ball. Wellington Lopez was a little too slow when Reynaldo Favoretto got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 2-4. After having played for 87 minutes, Allan Toledo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
