Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Moises Hargrove took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 4 minutes of play, Itacamba EC's Chiquinho Guerra made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anderson Peixoto was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 9th minute, Chiquinho Guerra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anderson Peixoto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After having played for 14 minutes, Tony Barral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Itacamba EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tony Barral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tony Barral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Anderson Peixoto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Chiquinho Guerra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 20th match minute, Coaraci was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adelino Marques to maneuver through the defense. Anderson Peixoto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tony Barral in the 21st minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Coaraci's goal looked a bit too open when Tony Barral came free, but Anderson Peixoto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Coaraci getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Adelino Marques hit a great ball. Walmyr Vasconcelos hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute, Jacinto Mangueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Coaraci booed when Itacamba EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacinto Mangueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th match minute, Itacamba EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chiquinho Guerra to maneuver through the defense. Tony Barral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Chiquinho Guerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tony Barral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Itacamba EC's Chiquinho Guerra slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Anderson Peixoto. That made the score 0-3 after 56 minutes of play. Chiquinho Guerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Raimundo Gaspar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 75 minutes into the match, Coaraci's goalkeeper Anderson Peixoto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tony Barral. In the 76th minute Isac Jilăveanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiago Marquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the game, Jacinto Mangueira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Itacamba EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Coaraci the free kick. Jacinto Mangueira kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Dionísio Meirelles took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tiago Marquez. Itacamba EC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Tiago Marquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isac Jilăveanu in the 80th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Moises Hargrove ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tiago Marquez was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isac Jilăveanu in the 95th minute of play forced Itacamba EC's goalkeeper Tiago Marquez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Coaraci manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Itacamba EC to win.
