After having played for 3 minutes, Dinei Travassos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Florencio SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dinei Travassos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Deivid Koehler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diamantino Falcão having to interfere. Florencio SS's Deivid Koehler got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 12 minutes, Mathias Gomes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paris Saint Germain and the Florencio SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mathias Gomes kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. After 16 minutes, Paulinho Pombal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Florencio SS and the Paris Saint Germain players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 16 played minutes Florencio SS got a freekick which was hit by Paulinho Pombal. 1-0 became the score in the 23rd minute when Falcão Pires elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 30 minutes into the match, Florencio SS's goal looked a bit too open when Falcão Pires came free, but Nelson Zilles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dinei Travassos's late challenge caught a Paris Saint Germain's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dinei Travassos helped the player get up and apologised. Paulinho Pombal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eliézer Teixeira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nelson Zilles having to make a save. The supporters of Paris Saint Germain booed when Florencio SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Peres didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute, Josué Mandrak sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Florencio SS's Nelson Zilles didn't even have to move. Eliézer Teixeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nelson Zilles having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Falcão Pires to strike the kick off in the second half. Florencio SS's Deivid Koehler got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paris Saint Germain's Diamantino Falcão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Paris Saint Germain from getting a goal against them. Nelson Zilles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Falcão Pires, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Deivid Koehler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Paris Saint Germain's Diamantino Falcão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Paris Saint Germain from getting a goal against them. In the 80th minute, Paris Saint Germain's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Deivid Koehler fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Paulinho Pombal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Diamantino Falcão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nelson Zilles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Falcão Pires in the 86th minute of play. Florencio SS's Nelson Zilles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliézer Teixeira in the 89th minute of play.
