Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Cristóvão de Toledo made the kick off and thus started the match. 0-1 became the score in the 3rd minute when Luís Fabiano Ferraz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Valdemar Dias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frederico Aparecido in the 8th minute of play. Juquinha Espuleta's Lisandro Micael got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carlos Fernando de Mendonça made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Cristóvão de Toledo sent off a good shot on target. Lisandro Micael sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristóvão de Toledo might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carlos Fernando de Mendonça. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristóvão de Toledo ran back to his position shaking his head. 22 minutes into the game, Martelo FC's Cipriano Barbosa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Valdemar Dias made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After a rather tough play, Juquinha Espuleta's Gonçalo Valladares got a free kick in the 24th minute. Carlos Fernando de Mendonça made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Cristóvão de Toledo sent off a good shot on target. Frederico Aparecido hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After 43 minutes of play, Juquinha Espuleta's Cristóvão de Toledo made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlos Fernando de Mendonça was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 47th match minute, Martelo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseu Madureira to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Cipriano Barbosa got free with Valdemar Dias in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Frederico Aparecido kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 64th minute, one of Martelo FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Martelo FC. Gonçalo Valladares shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Dário Machado lost his temper 68 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Dário Machado kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Valdemar Dias acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 70th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Vítor Barros. In the 75th minute Nico Maciel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdemar Dias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valdemar Dias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nico Maciel in the 76th minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Martelo FC's Nico Maciel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Valdemar Dias. Valdemar Dias yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. Juquinha Espuleta's Valdemar Dias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frederico Aparecido in the 79th minute of play. Valdemar Dias didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cipriano Barbosa went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-5 was the resulting score. Nico Maciel took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valdemar Dias. Valdemar Dias dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-7. Lisandro Micael received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Carlos Fernando de Mendonça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Martelo FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Juquinha Espuleta throughout the match.
