Lidice AD's Gilmar Lara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lenílson Leão in the 24th minute of play. Boran Günsel took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gilmar Lara. Gilmar Lara dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olavo Viana in the 34th minute of play forced Lidice AD's goalkeeper Gilmar Lara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilmar Lara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lenílson Leão in the 37th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Boran Günsel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Boran Günsel's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gilmar Lara firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 46th minute, Fiori Mello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Lidice AD's zone, Boran Günsel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilmar Lara came out of the goal and Boran Günsel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lenílson Leão stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In a very dangerous position, a player in Lidice AD fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 54th minute. Penalty! Cristiano Silveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fiori Mello in the 61st minute of the match. Ferhat Dirican kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Olavo Viana struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute.
