Luizinho Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 15 minutes into the match, Garapa EC's goal looked a bit too open when Luizinho Fontes came free, but Didi Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 18 played minutes Garapa EC got a freekick which was hit by Válbson da Cunha. In the 21st minute Luizinho Fontes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Didi Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francisco Fonseca hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Wilian Martins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Válbson da Cunha in the 28th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Téo do Nascimento made a precise shot to the right of Wilian Martins. Dominguinho's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. The supporters of Garapa EC booed when Dominguinho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Motta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Didi Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Brodel in the 58th minute of play. Téo do Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Wilian Martins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Garapa EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Many of Dominguinho's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose.
