Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Soturna EC's Elder de Brito started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marquinhos Peixoto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Hermínio Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10th minute, Glauco Ferraz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Armandinho Schmidt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Soturna EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Armandinho Schmidt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Natanael Rosado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Glauco Ferraz during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 18th minute, Glauco Ferraz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elder de Brito blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Natanael Rosado having to make a save. Percy Seco's late challenge caught a Soturna EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Percy Seco helped the player get up and apologised. Percy Seco hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Natanael Rosado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Armandinho Schmidt in the 22nd minute. When Soturna EC's Elder de Brito in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Arumanduba's goalie prevented a goal. Elder de Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natanael Rosado having to interfere. Tiago Gabriel Paraíba struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Hermínio Costa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arumanduba. Tiago Gabriel Paraíba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 47th minute of the game. One of Arumanduba:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Soturna EC:s goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

A collision led to Soturna EC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Elder de Brito hit a great ball. Marquinhos Peixoto succeeded in the game's 60th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marquinhos Peixoto during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marquinhos Peixoto kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Hermínio Costa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marquinhos Peixoto's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Tiago Gabriel Paraíba who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Hermínio Costa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Elder de Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Percy Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arumanduba's supporters rose to their feet, but Percy Seco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hermínio Costa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Arumanduba fans' excitement grew in the 78th match minute when Arumanduba's Tiago Gabriel Paraíba looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 82nd minute Elder de Brito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natanael Rosado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquim Ceresso hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Hermínio Costa was a little too slow when Marquinhos Peixoto got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 1-3. Armandinho Schmidt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 98th match minute, Soturna EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luizão Peres to maneuver through the defense. Rodolfo Gerber, 99 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.
