Eugênio Rocha succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 10th playminute. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Eugênio Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tobiaras EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eugênio Rocha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serginho Bueno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Serginho Bueno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Percival Gaúcho in the 17th minute of play. Percival Gaúcho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serginho Bueno having to interfere. Serginho Bueno was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Percival Gaúcho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 22 minute of play. If Laércio Sena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adelino Nogueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldemar Queiroz in the 28th minute of the match. Percival Gaúcho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 32nd play minutes Percival Gaúcho shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Serginho Bueno and just under the crossbar into goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eugênio Rocha got free with Serginho Bueno in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpected shot in the 36th minute by Eugênio Rocha got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a defensive mix-up in Rik Motos's zone, Percival Gaúcho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serginho Bueno came out of the goal and Percival Gaúcho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zacarias Terra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serginho Bueno having to interfere. Eugênio Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 55th minute, Percival Gaúcho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Eugênio Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tobiaras EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eugênio Rocha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serginho Bueno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugênio Rocha in the 74th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eugênio Rocha in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Serginho Bueno saved Rik Motos from getting behind. 80 minutes into the match, Rik Motos's goal looked a bit too open when Percival Gaúcho came free, but Serginho Bueno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Eugênio Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Percival Gaúcho kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Percival Gaúcho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th match minute, Rik Motos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Waldemar Queiroz to maneuver through the defense. Sydney Mello made a great header on Tobiaras EC's corner, it was just that Rik Motos's Serginho Bueno managed to reach the ball for a save. When the referee ended the match the Tobiaras EC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
