Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) After 6 played minutes Váldson Paraibano rounded Rodeiro SC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. José Linares had great luck who in the 10thth minute grab hold of the ball when Váldson Paraibano from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. With a little luck, Rodeiro SC's José Linares got control of the ball when Edmílson Braga tried to sneak it across the goal line. José Linares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Váldson Paraibano in the 24th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the game, Henrique Zonta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rodeiro SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Camaragibe SS the free kick. In the 27th match minute, Rodeiro SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrique Zonta to maneuver through the defense. If Váldson Paraibano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luiz Fábio Hoffmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Zé Carlos Barral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. José Linares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Váldson Paraibano's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Rodeiro SC's goal looked a bit too open when Váldson Paraibano came free, but José Linares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Luiz Fábio Hoffmann hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Antônio Carlos Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Linares having to interfere. In the 59th minute Váldson Paraibano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Linares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Váldson Paraibano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antônio Carlos Amorim took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised José Linares. José Linares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. If Antônio Carlos Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luiz Fábio Hoffmann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 81st match minute, Rodeiro SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrique Zonta to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th match minute, Rodeiro SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rony Capixaba to maneuver through the defense. After 85 played minutes, Camaragibe SS's Carlos Augusto Ramos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper José Linares came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Camaragibe SS reached it. Luiz Fábio Hoffmann's late challenge caught a Camaragibe SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luiz Fábio Hoffmann helped the player get up and apologised. Luiz Fábio Hoffmann kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Váldson Paraibano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. José Linares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antônio Carlos Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodeiro SC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
