Maurinho Rossi started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Corona FC's Donatello Nascimento got a free kick in the 3rd minute. If Luís Eduardo Toscano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martinopole SS's Erivaldo Vidal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raphael Rossi in the 14th minute of play. Romário Zanette sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maurinho Rossi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dionísio Arruda having to interfere. Dionísio Arruda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maurinho Rossi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Maurinho Rossi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Martinopole SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Maurinho Rossi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dionísio Arruda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dionísio Arruda was out of position in the 29 minute of play, and Guilherme da Silveira capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Guilherme da Silveira really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. If Luís Eduardo Toscano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erivaldo Vidal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raphael Rossi, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 43rdth minute of the game Luís Eduardo Toscano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Martinopole SS's Erivaldo Vidal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Luís Eduardo Toscano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erivaldo Vidal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Reginaldo Soares's late challenge caught a Martinopole SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reginaldo Soares helped the player get up and apologised. After 55 played minutes Corona FC got a freekick which was hit by Reginaldo Soares. Raphael Rossi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Erivaldo Vidal made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Luís Eduardo Toscano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Corona FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Eduardo Toscano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erivaldo Vidal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With an all-out effort, Corona FC's Erivaldo Vidal threw himself towards the right post 89 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luís Eduardo Toscano, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Romário Zanette fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dionísio Arruda having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Martinopole SS had won after a very even match.
