An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdir Garcia in the 66th minute of play forced Corona FC's goalkeeper Dionísio Arruda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Magarai's goalkeeper Dedé Bastos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raphael Rossi. If Raphael Rossi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dionísio Arruda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdir Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Raphael Rossi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dedé Bastos having to interfere. Luís Eduardo Toscano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Dedé Bastos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Luís Eduardo Toscano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Corona FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Eduardo Toscano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dedé Bastos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
