Flávio de Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Parada getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Fernando Dantas hit a great ball. Claudinho Terra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Betinho Marques, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Claudinho Terra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Betinho Marques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Flávio de Andrade managed to get in a good position for a shot. Castelo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Flávio de Andrade was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valdemar Rosado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Ramiro Gerber came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Castelo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramiro Gerber couldn't finish the play. Valdemar Rosado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flávio de Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. If Betinho Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Betinho Marques stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Claudinho Terra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Betinho Marques, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benjamin Quaresma got free with Claudinho Terra in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Parada's Valdemar Rosado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramiro Gerber in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th minute Ramiro Gerber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdemar Rosado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ramiro Gerber's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valdemar Rosado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Fernando Dantas kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Antônio Carlos Machado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Castelo FC's Claudinho Terra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Betinho Marques in the 71st minute of play. Betinho Marques did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-2 to the left of a surprised Claudinho Terra 72 minutes into the match. If Benjamin Quaresma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ramiro Gerber in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valdemar Rosado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Claudinho Terra made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Benjamin Quaresma sent off a good shot on target. Antônio Carlos Machado charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antônio Carlos Machado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 89th minute Betinho Marques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinho Terra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valdemar Rosado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flávio de Andrade in the 91st minute of play. Benjamin Quaresma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinho Terra having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Parada eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
