Zenon Czerwinski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oséias Madureira in the 29th minute of the match. After having played for 40 minutes, Oséias Madureira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zenon Czerwinski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oséias Madureira, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tolis Kelpekis to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mauro Dias during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. One of Cobertor de Mendigo FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Carvoeiro:s goal. The goalkeeper, Zenon Czerwinski, was totally fooled by Carvoeiro's Cristóvão Schmidt, who 66 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Oséias Madureira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zenon Czerwinski having to interfere. Zenon Czerwinski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. Through an outstanding action, after 95 minutes, Zenon Czerwinski successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Róbson Xavier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 99th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Carvoeiro had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
