Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Ianatama SS's Albertinho Rezende started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th minute, Albertinho Rezende ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jorge Massa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Iulian Macovei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 12 minutes into the match, Ianatama SS's goal looked a bit too open when Iulian Macovei came free, but Nestor Simões reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Iulian Macovei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Iulian Macovei managed to get in a good position for a shot. Master SC Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Iulian Macovei was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nestor Simões breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 23rd minute Pedro Paulo Salles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Massa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jorge Massa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valdemar Araújo went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. With 32 minutes on the clock, Eriberto de Medeiros commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Master SC Futebol Clube fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 31st minute. Penalty! The referee gave Ianatama SS a penalty, 34 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Franklin Leite, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Master SC Futebol Clube's Jorge Massa. 0-3. In the 36th match minute, Ianatama SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandrinho Paranaense to maneuver through the defense. Master SC Futebol Clube's Jorge Massa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvinho Netto in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Pedro Paulo Salles ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jorge Massa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Jorge Massa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albertinho Rezende, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes into the match, Silvinho Netto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jorge Massa. Master SC Futebol Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Silvinho Netto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

After having played for 52 minutes, Albertinho Rezende managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ianatama SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albertinho Rezende was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Afonso Teles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Nestor Simões tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Master SC Futebol Clube's Jorge Massa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Master SC Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. Jorge Massa came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ianatama SS's Silvinho Netto. But to his dismay, Silvinho Netto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Jorge Massa was out of position in the 83 minute of play, and Albertinho Rezende capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Albertinho Rezende really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7. Through an outstanding action, after 87 minutes, Jorge Massa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 90 played minutes Pedro Paulo Salles rounded Master SC Futebol Clube's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-8. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ianatama SS had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
