Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Claudinei Aguiar got the match started through his kick off. Juarês Ceresso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudinei Aguiar, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. When Armindo Romero came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Almfala fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armindo Romero couldn't finish the play. Armindo Romero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juarês Ceresso having to interfere. The supporters of Santamaro booed when Almfala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armindo Romero didn't get a good kick on the ball. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Almfala's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Reynaldo Mineiro was slow to take the kick. During this time Santamaro's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Santamaro's corner Reynaldo Mineiro fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Murillo Dracena quite easily take care of the ball. Santamaro's Juarês Ceresso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armindo Romero in the 19th minute of play. Maurinho Salgado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murillo Dracena having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Santamaro's zone, Armindo Romero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juarês Ceresso came out of the goal and Armindo Romero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 27 minutes into the game, Almfala's Claudinei Aguiar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juarês Ceresso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. A collision led to Santamaro getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Miguel das Neves hit a great ball. Almfala's Tibúrcio Sá couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 31st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Santamaro. In the 35th minute there was a penalty for Almfala. Tibúrcio Sá stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Juarês Ceresso. 0-2. After 38 played minutes Santamaro got a freekick which was hit by Miguel das Neves. Víktor Tande fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murillo Dracena having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, José Paranaense managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santamaro's supporters rose to their feet, but José Paranaense was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Murillo Dracena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 47th minute, Armindo Romero made a precise shot to the right of Juarês Ceresso. Santamaro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. The Santamaro players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Almfala were winning 0-3.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell José Paranaense to make the kick off. José Paranaense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Murillo Dracena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Armindo Romero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute, Almfala's Claudinei Aguiar ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Juarês Ceresso. Juarês Ceresso yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Juarês Ceresso was a little too slow when Claudinei Aguiar got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 0-5. Armindo Romero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Santamaro's goalkeeper Juarês Ceresso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. José Paranaense took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Murillo Dracena. Murillo Dracena dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. If José Paranaense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
