Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Wellington do Nascimento kicked off to start the match. Zé Pedro Zonta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juarês Ceresso having to interfere. 8 minutes into the match, Chicuru's goalkeeper Eusébio Couto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maurinho Salgado. 9 minutes into the match, Chicuru's goal looked a bit too open when Wellington do Nascimento came free, but Eusébio Couto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Maurinho Salgado kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eusébio Couto. That made the score 1-0 in the 19 minute of play. If Zé Pedro Zonta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 27 minutes into the match, Jeremias de Alcântara notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Santamaro's Juarês Ceresso. Juarês Ceresso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Maurinho Salgado scored 2-1 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eusébio Couto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Jeremias de Alcântara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chicuru's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeremias de Alcântara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juarês Ceresso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eusébio Couto made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Wellington do Nascimento sent off a good shot on target. Santamaro's Juarês Ceresso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias de Alcântara in the 38th minute of play. Maurinho Salgado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eusébio Couto having to make a save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
Juarês Ceresso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Pedro Zonta, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After having played for 59 minutes, Wellington do Nascimento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santamaro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wellington do Nascimento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 67 minutes, Michel Rosado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chicuru and the Santamaro players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 68th match minute, Chicuru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michel Rosado to maneuver through the defense. Eusébio Couto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wellington do Nascimento, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. When Michel Rosado came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Chicuru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michel Rosado couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Jeremias de Alcântara sped through Santamaro's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Juarês Ceresso. If Zé Pedro Zonta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Wellington do Nascimento managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santamaro's supporters rose to their feet, but Wellington do Nascimento was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eusébio Couto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Michel Rosado kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Jeremias de Alcântara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Juarês Ceresso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
