Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gonçalo Diniz started the match with the kick off. Valdomiro Faria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 9 played minutes Nolasco F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Kiko Salgado. Edinho Senna got in the 10th minute a good position and tried a long shot which to a great surprise passed a very astonished Fred Galvão. This was a shot which ended in a score of 1-0. After a rather tough play, Cidade's Yuri Guerra got a free kick in the 12th minute. If Humberto Prado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Cidade's Kiko Botelho got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 16th minute of the match Vitinho Sampaio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Digo Correia skillfully saved the ball. Fred Galvão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonçalo Diniz in the 18th minute of play. Fred Galvão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonçalo Diniz, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Fernandinho Paraíba's late challenge caught a Cidade's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fernandinho Paraíba helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Prado in the 34th minute of play forced Cidade's goalkeeper Digo Correia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Renato Mattos kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Valdomiro Faria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Digo Correia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cidade's Digo Correia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdomiro Faria in the 45th minute of play.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Humberto Prado to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Renato Mattos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fred Galvão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonçalo Diniz in the 57th minute of play forced Nolasco F.C.'s goalkeeper Fred Galvão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute Tomás de Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fred Galvão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valdomiro Faria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Cidade getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Gonçalo Diniz hit a great ball. Valdomiro Faria in the 69thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Digo Correia, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Fred Galvão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renato Mattos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Humberto Prado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 79 minutes of play, Nolasco F.C.'s Valdomiro Faria made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Digo Correia was left in no man's land by his defense there! 83 minutes into the match, Nolasco F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Renato Mattos came free, but Fred Galvão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yuri Guerra hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 93rd match minute, Nolasco F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ademar Luz to maneuver through the defense. Cidade's Gonçalo Diniz got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cidade's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
