Aílton Antunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Dito Lopes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maurício Koehler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Davi Ortiz in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aílton Antunes in the 46th minute of play forced Santelo's goalkeeper Dito Lopes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 47 minutes, Willian do Vale mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Francisco Beltrão FB and the Santelo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 47 played minutes Francisco Beltrão FB got a freekick which was hit by Willian do Vale. The Santelo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Francisco Beltrão FB were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zé Augusto Secco made a kick off. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Francisco Beltrão FB. Aílton Antunes scored 0-3 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dito Lopes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 78 minutes into the match, Aílton Antunes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dito Lopes. Santelo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aílton Antunes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4.
