In the 13th minute Natanael Vasconcelos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedito Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Noite's Murilo Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Roberto Garcia fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bardo SC's protests and gave Roberto Garcia a yellow card for diving instead. In the 37th match minute, Bardo SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Garcia to maneuver through the defense. After 38 minutes, Tomás Prata mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The Noite and the Bardo SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 38 played minutes The Noite got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Prata. The crowd rose to their feet as Tomás Prata kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Oscar Amorim. That made the score 1-0 in the 42 minute of play. In the 45th match minute, The Noite was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doni Couto to maneuver through the defense. 46 minutes into the match, The Noite's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Seco came free, but Benedito Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomás Prata was the one to do the kick off. Benedito Santos made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Frank Seco sent off a good shot on target. Natanael Vasconcelos struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Benedito Santos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bardo SC. Murilo Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Oscar Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Tomás Prata left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The Noite fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Prata in the 70th minute of play forced Bardo SC's goalkeeper Oscar Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Noite's Benedito Santos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save The Noite from getting a goal against them. Oscar Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Prata in the 80th minute of the match. If Tomás Prata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of The Noite booed when Bardo SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Garcia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oscar Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Prata in the 86th minute of the match. Frank Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Oséas Barral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Bardo SC's Oséas Barral slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benedito Santos. That made the score 2-2 after 93 minutes of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
