Clube Atlético Douradense's Giuseppe Breckenfeld proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Clube Atlético Douradense from getting a goal against them. Manuel Meirelles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manuel Meirelles scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hamílton Saraiva, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Erik Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lenílson Moura could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Giuseppe Breckenfeld made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lenílson Moura got free with Giuseppe Breckenfeld in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Barbosa in the 30th minute of play forced Clube Atlético Douradense's goalkeeper Giuseppe Breckenfeld to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hamílton Saraiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilvan Favoretto, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 36 minutes into the game, Gilvan Favoretto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Clube Atlético Douradense's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sapataria the free kick. Gilvan Favoretto kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After 38 minutes, Hortêncio Miranda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sapataria and the Clube Atlético Douradense players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hortêncio Miranda hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. João Francisco Rossi kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The corner led Sapataria's Aleandro Pinheiro to fire away a dangerous shot which Giuseppe Breckenfeld despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gilvan Favoretto to strike the kick off in the second half. Hamílton Saraiva stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gilvan Favoretto's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Hortêncio Miranda kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Lenílson Moura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th minute Clube Atlético Douradense were awarded a corner. Claudinho Barreto went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Clube Atlético Douradense's corner Claudinho Barreto fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hamílton Saraiva quite easily take care of the ball. Lenílson Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giuseppe Breckenfeld having to interfere. After 77 minutes of play, Clube Atlético Douradense's Gilvan Favoretto made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hamílton Saraiva was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 85th minute, Jaime Ribeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manuel Meirelless short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got Hamílton Saraiva to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Hortêncio Miranda struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Giuseppe Breckenfeld didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sapataria. After a defensive mix-up in Sapataria's zone, Gilvan Favoretto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hamílton Saraiva came out of the goal and Gilvan Favoretto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rogério Tande hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Clube Atlético Douradense walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
