Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Zézinho Queirós took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 2nd minute, Enrique de Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 7th play minutes Zézinho Queirós shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Eriberto Trigo and just under the crossbar into goal. The supporters of Laranjais booed when Jatobazinho SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marquinhos Soares didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute there was a penalty for Laranjais. André Luiz Lara stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Cláudio Marinho. 1-1. Laranjais's Eriberto Trigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zézinho Queirós in the 17th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Laranjais's Kléberson Antunes got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 26th minute, Kléberson Antunes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luan Branco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cláudio Marinho having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Kléberson Antunes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cláudio Marinho, 2-1. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Laranjais's goalkeeper Eriberto Trigo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 36th match minute, Laranjais was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Percival Martins to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Percival Martins during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 45th minute Zézinho Queirós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Trigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kléberson Antunes to strike the kick off in the second half. João Francisco Novaes's late challenge caught a Laranjais's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. João Francisco Novaes helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Jatobazinho SC's João Francisco Novaes got a free kick in the 53rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kléberson Antunes in the 59th minute of play forced Jatobazinho SC's goalkeeper Cláudio Marinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Percival Martins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cláudio Marinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Percival Martins in the 67th minute of the match. Kléberson Antunes struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Cláudio Marinho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Laranjais. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zézinho Queirós in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eriberto Trigo saved Laranjais from getting behind. Otávio Fonseca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eriberto Trigo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. If Kléberson Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luan Branco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Cláudio Marinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Otávio Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gildo Rezende kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. A hard shot by Dinei Ramos from long distance, 95 minutes into the match, got Eriberto Trigo's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 96 minutes into the match, Laranjais's goal looked a bit too open when Otávio Fonseca came free, but Eriberto Trigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Laranjais fans cheered their team off the field, for while Jatobazinho SC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
