Cristiano Cardozo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a rather tough play, Vagner's Ramón Mineiro got a free kick in the 5th minute. Jack Sparrow's Osvaldo Paulista couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 6th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Vagner. Benjamin Reis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Cordeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jack Sparrow's Benjamin Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Cerezo in the 12th minute of play. After having played for 14 minutes, Dalmo Zanette managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vagner's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dalmo Zanette was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 16 minutes into the match, Roger Cordeiro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benjamin Reis, 1-1. Benjamin Reis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Cordeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roger Cordeiro in the 23rd minute of play forced Jack Sparrow's goalkeeper Benjamin Reis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filipe Queirós struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Cristiano Cardozo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jack Sparrow. Benjamin Reis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Cordeiro in the 27th minute of the match. Benjamin Reis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Cordeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filipe Queirós took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristiano Cardozo. Cristiano Cardozo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Vagner's Cristiano Cardozo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aloísio Maranhense in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aloísio Maranhense in the 38th minute of play forced Vagner's goalkeeper Cristiano Cardozo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristiano Cardozo came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Jack Sparrow's Filipe Queirós. But to his dismay, Filipe Queirós quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Cristiano Cardozo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filipe Queirós in the 43rd minute of play.

Osvaldo Paulista made a great header on Jack Sparrow's corner, it was just that Vagner's Cristiano Cardozo managed to reach the ball for a save. Aloísio Maranhense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Cardozo having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filipe Queirós in the 59th minute of play forced Vagner's goalkeeper Cristiano Cardozo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Denílson Barbosa kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Cristiano Cardozo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aloísio Maranhense went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. In the 71st play minute Aloísio Maranhense came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Cristiano Cardozo. 1-6. The supporters of Vagner booed when Jack Sparrow was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldo Paulista didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Filipe Queirós managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jack Sparrow's supporters rose to their feet, but Filipe Queirós was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristiano Cardozo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristiano Cardozo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filipe Queirós, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes into the match, Vagner's goal looked a bit too open when Filipe Queirós came free, but Cristiano Cardozo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jack Sparrow's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Osvaldo Paulista in the 87th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Valdomiro Furtado heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 90th minute, Jack Sparrow's Aloísio Maranhense dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-9. The Vagner supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Jack Sparrow's performance. The match ended with a win for Jack Sparrow.
