Arthur Carioca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geraldo Vides having to interfere. In the 33rd minute Wilian Baptista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kléber Barreto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute, Augusto Baiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Basílio Souto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kléber Barreto having to interfere. Geovani Galvão might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kléber Barreto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Geovani Galvão ran back to his position shaking his head. Arthur Carioca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to VIDRO PRETO getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Basílio Souto hit a great ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wilian Baptista stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, João Augusto Mineiro made a precise shot to the right of Geraldo Vides. VIDRO PRETO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, João Augusto Mineiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aruata SC's supporters rose to their feet, but João Augusto Mineiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geraldo Vides breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. João Augusto Mineiro struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Geraldo Vides didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aruata SC. Valdemar Magalhães's late challenge caught a VIDRO PRETO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valdemar Magalhães helped the player get up and apologised. Valdemar Magalhães hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Geraldo Vides took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arthur Carioca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arthur Carioca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Arthur Carioca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aruata SC's Arthur Carioca got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in VIDRO PRETO's zone, Arthur Carioca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geraldo Vides came out of the goal and Arthur Carioca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. João Augusto Mineiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aruata SC's Arthur Carioca got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
