Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Maurício Prado took the kick off in the first half of the match. Júlio Gonçalves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Túlio Moraes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Magno Saraiva in the 8th minute of play forced Apore's goalkeeper Túlio Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erivaldo Breckenfeld fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Túlio Cavalcante having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Jacinto Pimenta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erivaldo Breckenfeld's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Túlio Cavalcante read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Erivaldo Breckenfeld might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Túlio Cavalcante. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erivaldo Breckenfeld ran back to his position shaking his head. When Maurício Prado came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Apore fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maurício Prado couldn't finish the play. Betinho Lira hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Erivaldo Breckenfeld kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 24thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Riachao's keeper Túlio Cavalcante was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 28th minute of the game. One of Riachao:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Apore:s goal. 32 minutes into the game, Maurício Prado recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Túlio Cavalcante. Maurício Prado showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Magno Saraiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 40 minutes, Magno Saraiva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Riachao's supporters crossed their fingers, but Magno Saraiva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Riachao booed when Apore was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Luís Couto didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Apore defense, Júlio Gonçalves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Túlio Moraes. The Apore fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Túlio Moraes should have stopped the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Júlio Gonçalves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Túlio Moraes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Magno Saraiva went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Túlio Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júlio Gonçalves in the 86th minute of the match. Maurício Prado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Túlio Cavalcante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Apore were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Riachao for a fine match.
