If Leopoldo de Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Denílson Cruz charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Denílson Cruz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 11th minute, Denílson Cruz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Betinho Aparecido hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Benjamin Valladares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopoldo de Almeida in the 15th minute of play. Escola Maria do Carmo FC's Benjamin Valladares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo de Almeida in the 20th minute of play. After 24 minutes of play, Pagode EC's Leopoldo de Almeida made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benjamin Valladares was left in no man's land by his defense there! Escola Maria do Carmo FC's Benjamin Valladares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Barbosa in the 27th minute of play. Benjamin Valladares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo de Almeida in the 28th minute of the match. A hard shot by Thomás Simão from long distance, 30 minutes into the match, got José Matorin's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 34th minute Leopoldo de Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Valladares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo de Almeida in the 38th minute of play forced Escola Maria do Carmo FC's goalkeeper Benjamin Valladares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute of the match Gualter Vianna sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benjamin Valladares skillfully saved the ball. Rafael Barbosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Pagode EC booed when Escola Maria do Carmo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renatinho Prado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leopoldo de Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

A hard shot 52 in the game by Rafael Barbosa from a close distance when the talented Benjamin Valladares managed to make a qualified save. Escola Maria do Carmo FC's players were relieved. In the 54th match minute, Pagode EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Eduardo Mumbach to maneuver through the defense. Marcinho Loureiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 58 minutes into the match, Pagode EC's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Eduardo Vides came free, but José Matorin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Escola Maria do Carmo FC's Benjamin Valladares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo de Almeida in the 60th minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Carlos Eduardo Vides notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Pagode EC's José Matorin. José Matorin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 67th minute Marcinho Loureiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Matorin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Escola Maria do Carmo FC's Betinho Aparecido got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Benjamin Valladares was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Luiz Eduardo Mumbach showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 79 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Eduardo Vides in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck José Matorin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Carlos Eduardo Vides came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Escola Maria do Carmo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Eduardo Vides couldn't finish the play. Marcinho Loureiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. José Matorin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcinho Loureiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Escola Maria do Carmo FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Pagode EC's performance. The match ended with a win for Pagode EC.
