Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Aírton Quadros got the match started through his kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luiz Fernando Sergipano in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anísio Bertassi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 13 minutes into the game, Cauan Messias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gancho SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mangunca EC the free kick. After 13 played minutes Gancho SS got a freekick which was hit by Cauan Messias. After recieving a nice pass, Mangunca EC's André Luís Quadros tried to score from far away in the 16th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Anísio Bertassi came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Gancho SS's Jerônimo Vale. But to his dismay, Jerônimo Vale quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Jerônimo Vale took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anísio Bertassi. Anísio Bertassi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. When Jerônimo Vale came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Gancho SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jerônimo Vale couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Gancho SS booed when Mangunca EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cipriano Barral didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Mangunca EC's Aírton Quadros in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gancho SS's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luiz Fernando Sergipano was the one to do the kick off. With an all-out effort, Gancho SS's Anísio Bertassi threw himself towards the right post 54 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luiz Fernando Sergipano, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 55 minutes into the match, Gancho SS's Jerônimo Vale sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anísio Bertassi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Mangunca EC's Anísio Bertassi got control of the ball when Jerônimo Vale tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 61 minutes, Reinaldo da Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mangunca EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reinaldo da Silva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. André Luís Quadros kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Anísio Bertassi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Fernando Sergipano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luiz Fernando Sergipano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute Luiz Fernando Sergipano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anísio Bertassi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anísio Bertassi was a little too slow when Luiz Fernando Sergipano got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 0-5. If Luiz Fernando Sergipano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cauan Messias got free with Anísio Bertassi in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 92 minutes in the game, Luiz Fernando Sergipano dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal.
