Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Diego Linhares started the match with the kick off. When Marquinhos Martins came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Firmamento SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marquinhos Martins couldn't finish the play. 5 minutes into the match, Gernando Machado notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Generoso's André Vasconcelos. André Vasconcelos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Firmamento SS's Gabriel Maranhense in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Generoso's goalie prevented a goal. Jaime Couto hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute, Gabriel Maranhense got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. André Vasconcelos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Maranhense in the 18th minute of the match. André Vasconcelos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Maranhense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gabriel Maranhense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. André Vasconcelos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Gabriel Maranhense got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Marquinhos Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Firmamento SS's Gabriel Maranhense in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Generoso's goalie prevented a goal. André Vasconcelos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Maranhense in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Gabriel Maranhense fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Marquinhos Martins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Vasconcelos having to interfere. If Humberto Vianna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Waldir Paraibano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Linhares, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Marquinhos Martins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Vasconcelos having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Firmamento SS's goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Vianna came free, but Waldir Paraibano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 46 played minutes Generoso got a freekick which was hit by Fernandão do Vale. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 56th minute Gabriel Maranhense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Vasconcelos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Firmamento SS's goalkeeper Waldir Paraibano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Humberto Vianna. Diego Linhares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Waldir Paraibano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Humberto Vianna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Maranhense in the 67th minute of play forced Generoso's goalkeeper André Vasconcelos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute Marquinhos Martins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Vasconcelos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute, Marquinhos Martins made a precise shot to the right of André Vasconcelos. Generoso's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. The audience was convinced that Gabriel Maranhense's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but André Vasconcelos was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. 86 minutes into the match, Firmamento SS's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Linhares came free, but Waldir Paraibano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. André Vasconcelos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Maranhense, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute.
