Svoboda FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sororo FC the free kick. The supporters of Sororo FC booed when Svoboda FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adriano Trevisan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedro Prado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guga Almeida in the 6th minute of the match. Benjamim Urbano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horácio Bertassi, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. If João Augusto Dionísio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Nestor Andrade fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Svoboda FC's protests and gave Nestor Andrade a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Svoboda FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Nestor Andrade hit a great ball. In the 21st minute, Svoboda FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Guga Almeida fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Svoboda FC's goalkeeper Pedro Prado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marcel Peres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Prado having to interfere. After having played for 29 minutes, Claudinho Quirino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sororo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudinho Quirino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 43rd minute of the match, Guga Almeida tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pedro Prado saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 45 minutes into the game, Sororo FC's Claudinho Quirino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Prado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Guga Almeida made the kick off in the second half. Svoboda FC's Pedro Prado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guga Almeida in the 51st minute of play. In the 53rd minute, Guga Almeida got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 54th match minute, Svoboda FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duda Brodel to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Prado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudinho Quirino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Prado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guga Almeida's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. A collision led to Svoboda FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Adriano Trevisan hit a great ball. If Claudinho Quirino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claudinho Quirino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Prado having to interfere. Guga Almeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Pedro Prado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 73 played minutes, Sororo FC's Caio Soares shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pedro Prado came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sororo FC reached it. Claudinho Quirino might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Prado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Claudinho Quirino ran back to his position shaking his head. Pedro Prado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guga Almeida in the 77th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Svoboda FC's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinho Quirino came free, but Pedro Prado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute, Duda Brodel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Jardel Arósio fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sororo FC's protests and gave Jardel Arósio a yellow card for diving instead. After 91 played minutes Sororo FC got a freekick which was hit by Jardel Arósio. In the 94th minute Guga Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Prado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nestor Andrade got his second yellow card in the match during the 94th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 95 played minutes Svoboda FC got a freekick which was hit by Nestor Andrade. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sororo FC fully deserved thier win.
