After having played for 9 minutes, Donato Mota managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Soledad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donato Mota was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. RAMPANELLAS FC's Danilo Pinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisinho Guedes in the 17th minute of play. Yuri Tepedino kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. When Donato Mota came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Soledad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donato Mota couldn't finish the play. Luisinho Guedes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Donato Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute, Yuri Tepedino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Danilo Pinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisinho Guedes in the 34th minute of play. Haroldo Vergílio hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. 38 minutes into the match, RAMPANELLAS FC's goalkeeper Danilo Pinho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Donato Mota. Donato Mota struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Danilo Pinho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Soledad. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Aílton Moura made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in RAMPANELLAS FC's zone, Jean Paes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danilo Pinho came out of the goal and Jean Paes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 56 minutes, Donato Mota mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Soledad and the RAMPANELLAS FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 56 played minutes Soledad got a freekick which was hit by Donato Mota. Aílton Moura's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Matheus Nogueira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Luisinho Guedes kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Danilo Pinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisinho Guedes in the 66th minute of play. If Cássio Proença had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aílton Moura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Matheus Nogueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, RAMPANELLAS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Donato Mota came free, but Danilo Pinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Jean Paes fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Soledad's protests and gave Jean Paes a yellow card for diving instead. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
