Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Pedrão Tavares kicked off to start the match. Adrianinho Corrêa came free with the goalkeeper in the 22nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Léo Santos could save by the left post. If Jonathan Dantas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Léo Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carl Lång, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Léo Santos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 39th minute, Carl Lång reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Léo Santos. The goal made the score 2-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Carl Lång managed to get in a good position for a shot. Queens Park Caetano's supporters rose to their feet, but Carl Lång was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Léo Santos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carl Lång fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Léo Santos having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

With a little luck, Queens Park Caetano's Reik Stranz got control of the ball when Jonathan Dantas tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Queens Park Caetano's Erivaldo Valle got a free kick in the 55th minute.
