Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomé Arruda started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Lino Antunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cássio Vinhas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nauari's Cássio Vinhas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomé Arruda in the 9th minute of play. Nauari's Dino Dante got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Romário Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Juarês Soeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dino Dante's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juarês Soeiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Romário Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Juarês Soeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Martinopolis defense, Romário Cruz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juarês Soeiro. The Martinopolis fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juarês Soeiro should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Martinopolis booed when Nauari was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dino Dante didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute Tomé Arruda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cássio Vinhas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the game, Lino Antunes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Cássio Vinhas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dino Dante was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dino Dante in the 53rd minute of play forced Martinopolis's goalkeeper Juarês Soeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zé Paulo Garcia's late challenge caught a Martinopolis's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zé Paulo Garcia helped the player get up and apologised. Zé Paulo Garcia kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Martinopolis's Magno Marques couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 59th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Nauari. Tomé Arruda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cássio Vinhas having to interfere. Lino Antunes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Cássio Vinhas made a huge save. If Romário Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Martinopolis's zone, Romário Cruz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juarês Soeiro came out of the goal and Romário Cruz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Juarês Soeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romário Cruz in the 94th minute of the match. Juarês Soeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romário Cruz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nauari's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
