Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Davi Britto started the match with the kick off. Aluísio Soeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Amorim in the 4th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, Quatipuru's goal looked a bit too open when Edu Cerezo came free, but Aluísio Soeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aníbal Vasconcelos kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Davi Britto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Davi Britto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Manuel Favoretto having to make a save. Edu Cerezo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Aluísio Soeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Léo de Brito kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Durvalino Leal charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Durvalino Leal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 34 minutes into the match, Quatipuru's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Amorim came free, but Aluísio Soeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, João Francisco Alagoano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Capatara's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quatipuru the free kick. João Francisco Alagoano kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. The nice shot from Davi Britto in the 36thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Manuel Favoretto had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Marco Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 39 minutes into the match, Quatipuru's goal looked a bit too open when Edu Cerezo came free, but Aluísio Soeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute, Marco Amorim ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aluísio Soeiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After the first half Capatara were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marco Amorim to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Reinaldo Brodel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quatipuru's supporters rose to their feet, but Reinaldo Brodel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Favoretto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A hard shot 54 in the game by Edu Cerezo from a close distance when the talented Aluísio Soeiro managed to make a qualified save. Quatipuru's players were relieved. When Marco Amorim came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Capatara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Amorim couldn't finish the play. Edu Cerezo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aluísio Soeiro having to interfere. Aluísio Soeiro made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Edu Cerezo sent off a good shot on target. In the 73rd minute, Manfredo Leão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marco Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 88 minutes, Davi Britto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quatipuru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Davi Britto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Edu Cerezo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 93rd minute, Edu Cerezo made a precise shot to the right of Aluísio Soeiro. Quatipuru's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Cláudio Prestes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Manuel Favoretto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Quatipuru supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Capatara's performance. The match ended with a win for Capatara.
