Winter FC's Luís Gustavo da Cunha shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 3rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Laerte Tinoco but with some difficulty. In the 5th match minute, Winter FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thiago Rosado to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Fábio Secco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Winter FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fábio Secco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Laerte Tinoco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Sílvio Luiz Quadros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romeu Marinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Róbson Domingues having to interfere. Sílvio Luiz Quadros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Róbson Domingues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sílvio Luiz Quadros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Winter FC's Róbson Macedo got a free kick in the 25th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fábio Secco got free with Laerte Tinoco in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 28 minutes into the match, Fábio Secco dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Laerte Tinoco, 1-0. Sílvio Luiz Quadros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Róbson Domingues having to interfere. Fábio Secco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 47 played minutes Winter FC got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Pena. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sílvio Luiz Quadros made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Rabello F.C's zone, Fábio Secco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Laerte Tinoco came out of the goal and Fábio Secco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Clóvis Fantini during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Clóvis Fantini kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 63rd match minute, Winter FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fábio Secco to maneuver through the defense. 70 minutes into the match, Rabello F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Jânio Nunes came free, but Laerte Tinoco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st match minute, Rabello F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Téo Teles to maneuver through the defense. Clóvis Fantini, 72 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a rather tough play, Winter FC's Fábio Secco got a free kick in the 74th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jânio Nunes in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Laerte Tinoco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jânio Nunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laerte Tinoco having to interfere. Fábio Secco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Laerte Tinoco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Romeu Marinho came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Rabello F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romeu Marinho couldn't finish the play. Sílvio Luiz Quadros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Róbson Domingues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
