Rabello F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jeferson Barros was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a rather tough play, Rabello F.C's Ademar Tasso got a free kick in the 8th minute. Agostinho Toscano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 12 minutes into the match, Rabello F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Jeferson Barros came free, but Laerte Tinoco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Laerte Tinoco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sérgio Saraiva in the 13th minute of the match. Sebastião Zanette kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Mané Linares took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Emerson Arruda. Murici's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 30th minute, Jeferson Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sílvio Luiz Quadros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emerson Arruda having to interfere. Emerson Arruda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sílvio Luiz Quadros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the game, Romeu Marinho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Emerson Arruda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jeferson Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laerte Tinoco having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Emerson Arruda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romeu Marinho in the 52nd minute of the match. Jeferson Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Laerte Tinoco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 58 minutes into the game, Ademar Tasso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rabello F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Murici the free kick. The supporters of Murici booed when Rabello F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ademar Tasso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Laerte Tinoco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeferson Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Jeferson Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sérgio Saraiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rabello F.C's Laerte Tinoco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeferson Barros in the 78th minute of play. If Sérgio Saraiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elivélton França kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Jeferson Barros fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeferson Barros in the 90th minute of play forced Rabello F.C's goalkeeper Laerte Tinoco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sérgio Saraiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laerte Tinoco having to interfere. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rabello F.C's goalkeeper Laerte Tinoco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Sérgio Saraiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rabello F.C succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Murici had controlled the match.
