In the 5th minute Enrique Bastos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivo de Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benê Cunha charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benê Cunha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Benê Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Enrique Bastos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivo de Amaral having to interfere. When Agenor Alvarenga came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Cerquinho FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agenor Alvarenga couldn't finish the play. If Enrique Bastos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 38 minutes, Tales Tande mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cerquinho FC and the Cohab Alvim FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Cohab Alvim FC booed when Cerquinho FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tales Tande didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ivo de Amaral stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dedé Teixeira's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Agenor Alvarenga made the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Antônio Carlos Catarinense kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ivo de Amaral. That made the score 0-1 in the 54 minute of play. A collision led to Cerquinho FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Armindo Nunes hit a great ball. After 68 minutes of play, Cohab Alvim FC's Enrique Bastos made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ivo de Amaral was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cohab Alvim FC's Samuca Silveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agenor Alvarenga in the 73rd minute of play. Dedé Teixeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivo de Amaral having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Agenor Alvarenga in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Samuca Silveira saved Cohab Alvim FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Otávio Almeida in the 92nd minute of play forced Cohab Alvim FC's goalkeeper Samuca Silveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute Cerquinho FC were awarded a corner. Cauan de Almeida went to the cornerflag to take it. Cauan de Almeida made a great header on Cerquinho FC's corner, it was just that Cohab Alvim FC's Samuca Silveira managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agenor Alvarenga in the 96th minute of play forced Cohab Alvim FC's goalkeeper Samuca Silveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Cerquinho FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Cohab Alvim FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Cohab Alvim FC.
