Bicudo's supporters rose to their feet, but Ronaldinho Eger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hugues Baroni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Bicudo's Felippe Medeiros got a free kick in the 30th minute. Juventus F.C's Hugues Baroni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldinho Eger in the 34th minute of play. Hugues Baroni made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claudinho Travassos in the 35th minute. Ronaldinho Eger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Hugues Baroni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claudinho Travassos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugues Baroni having to interfere. Dino Negri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dito Batista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horácio Paiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The supporters of Juventus F.C booed when Bicudo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felippe Medeiros didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dino Negri to strike the kick off in the second half. Dito Batista made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Dino Negri sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Bicudo's Júlio Valle got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 71st match minute, Bicudo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Luiz Linares to maneuver through the defense. If Dino Negri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute, Juventus F.C's Angelo Chaves ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dito Batista. Dito Batista yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. Dino Negri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Dito Batista made a huge save. Bicudo's Dito Batista proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Bicudo from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Juventus F.C booed when Bicudo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dionísio Souto didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match was over Juventus F.C could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bicudo throughout the match.
