Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anier Oier to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Geraldo Capixaba had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cornelio Urtun. In the 91st match minute, Spartans was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wanderson Sousa to maneuver through the defense. 95 minutes into the match, Athenas's goal looked a bit too open when Elias Hever came free, but Cornelio Urtun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
