The audience thought a goal was coming when Erivaldo Rosa got free with Guilherme do Valle in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Celsinho de Medeiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Francisco Monteiro having to interfere. After 22 played minutes ₲₹€₥ΪΘ got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Freitas. 27 minutes into the match, ₲₹€₥ΪΘ's Celsinho de Medeiros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that João Francisco Monteiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pedro Silveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Francisco Monteiro having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Celsinho de Medeiros in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck João Francisco Monteiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Erivaldo Rosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Guilherme do Valle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute Vânderson Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Francisco Monteiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
