César Ceresso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Turuma SS's César Ceresso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurício Galvão in the 17th minute of play. Raúl Araújo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. César Ceresso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. César Ceresso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maurício Galvão in the 27th minute of play. César Ceresso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raúl Araújo in the 32nd minute of the match. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maurício Galvão to strike the kick off in the second half. If Raúl Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Norberto Velasco's late challenge caught a Turuma SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Norberto Velasco helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Turuma SS booed when Quadro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norberto Velasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Turuma SS's César Ceresso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurício Galvão in the 64th minute of play. Maurício Galvão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without César Ceresso having to interfere. César Ceresso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maurício Galvão, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute.
