Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Virgílio Paes started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 5 minutes into the match, Josefina's goal looked a bit too open when Délio Gonçalves came free, but Glauco Ferreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Glauco Ferreira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ademir Cruz went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Deivid Reis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Josefina's Virgílio Paes in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Turvania's goalie prevented a goal. Glauco Ferreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ademir Cruz in the 13th minute of the match. Ademir Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tostão Mendonça hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. If Ademir Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Deivid Reis hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Zacarias Quadros kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After 23 played minutes, Turvania's Wanderson Medeiros shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Glauco Ferreira came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Turvania reached it. Turvania's Agostinho Moura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgílio Paes in the 26th minute of play. Glauco Ferreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ademir Cruz in the 34th minute of play. After having played for 37 minutes, Virgílio Paes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Josefina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Virgílio Paes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Delfim Souto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Agostinho Moura was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. 0-2 became the score in the 42nd minute when Ademir Cruz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
In the 52nd minute Zacarias Quadros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agostinho Moura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sílvio Luís Coutinho kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Virgílio Paes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Agostinho Moura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Delfim Souto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agostinho Moura having to interfere. Virgílio Paes struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Agostinho Moura didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Josefina. Agostinho Moura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgílio Paes, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. With a little luck, Josefina's Glauco Ferreira got control of the ball when Délio Gonçalves tried to sneak it across the goal line. Délio Gonçalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Glauco Ferreira having to interfere. Virgílio Paes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by João Carlos Tepedino during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Turvania's Ademir Cruz got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 80thth minute of the game Virgílio Paes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Turvania's Agostinho Moura was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 85th minute, Délio Gonçalves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Délio Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Josefina's Glauco Ferreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ademir Cruz in the 91st minute of play. Virgílio Paes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Turvania eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
