Márcio Tróia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luizinho Hoffmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maicon Quadros might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over João Pedro França. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maicon Quadros ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Doradoquara EC booed when Quixara SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gugu Couto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Márcio Tróia didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 34th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. The wind increased when Maicon Quadros made the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game Maicon Quadros who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Quixara SS's João Pedro França was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marquinhos Coutinho in the 57th minute of play forced Doradoquara EC's goalkeeper Márcio Tróia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Quixara SS getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Gugu Couto hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Quixara SS's Angelo Rosado got a free kick in the 61st minute. João Pedro França showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maicon Quadros in the 65th minute of the match. Ramiro Velasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. João Pedro França tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Maicon Quadros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg João Pedro França managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when Doradoquara EC's Maicon Quadros fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luizinho Hoffmann during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Luizinho Hoffmann hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute of the match, Maicon Quadros tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but João Pedro França saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a little luck, Quixara SS's João Pedro França got control of the ball when Ramiro Velasco tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 83 minutes, Luís Fernando Duarte mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quixara SS and the Doradoquara EC players grew even worse after the yellow card.
