Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dinei Rezende kicked off to start the match. Dinei Rezende struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Edmílson Novaes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BeloTaurus FC. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Dinei Rezende managed to get in a good position for a shot. BeloTaurus FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dinei Rezende was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edmílson Novaes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of BeloTaurus FC booed when Pirauna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Adolfo da Mata didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, BeloTaurus FC's Arí Ferreira got a free kick in the 15th minute. Gil do Nascimento, 16 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Tião Zonta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelinho Koehler having to interfere. Dinei Rezende received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Edmílson Novaes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jano Miranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute Dinei Rezende shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmílson Novaes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. João Adolfo da Mata hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After 38 minutes of play, BeloTaurus FC's Dinei Rezende made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edmílson Novaes was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Tião Zonta got free with Marcelinho Koehler in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 43 played minutes BeloTaurus FC got a freekick which was hit by Davi Silveira. Gil do Nascimento took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 45th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marcelinho Koehler. BeloTaurus FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Dinei Rezende fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmílson Novaes having to interfere. After the first half BeloTaurus FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jano Miranda to strike the kick off in the second half. Edmílson Novaes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dinei Rezende in the 54th minute of play. Paulo José Velasco's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 56thth minute, Edmílson Novaes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Dinei Rezende sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Dedé Ceresso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 67 played minutes Pirauna got a freekick which was hit by Elias de Azevedo. After a rather tough play, Pirauna's João Adolfo da Mata got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Edmílson Novaes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dinei Rezende in the 79th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jano Miranda in the 81st minute of play forced BeloTaurus FC's goalkeeper Marcelinho Koehler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute, Tião Zonta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jano Miranda in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcelinho Koehler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to BeloTaurus FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Natanael Maia hit a great ball. In the 91st match minute, Pirauna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oséas Nogueira to maneuver through the defense.
