Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Tebaida EC's Cristian Mazza started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gugu Lopes stood somewhat misplaced when Lenílson Cosme came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 3 minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 7th minute of the game. One of Tebaida EC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Jurumirim SS:s goal. Frédson Miranda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Gugu Lopes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matías Xavier came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Tebaida EC's Humberto Souto. But to his dismay, Humberto Souto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Cristian Mazza struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Matías Xavier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tebaida EC. 27 minutes into the match, Jurumirim SS's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Mazza came free, but Matías Xavier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Tebaida EC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Frédson Porto hit a great ball. 32 minutes into the match, Jurumirim SS's Zé Carlos Vergílio broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Lenílson Cosme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frédson Miranda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute Frédson Miranda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gugu Lopes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frédson Miranda to make the kick off. Sandrinho Moura's late challenge caught a Tebaida EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sandrinho Moura helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Jurumirim SS's Sandrinho Moura got a free kick in the 56th minute. Tebaida EC's Cristian Mazza got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 61 minutes, Cristian Mazza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tebaida EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Mazza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Américo Montenegro hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Cristian Mazza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matías Xavier having to interfere. Jurumirim SS's Matías Xavier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Jurumirim SS from getting a goal against them. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 66th minute of the game. Jurumirim SS's Matías Xavier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Souto in the 72nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lenílson Cosme in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gugu Lopes saved Tebaida EC from getting behind. In the 91st minute Frédson Porto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matías Xavier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jurumirim SS's Matías Xavier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Jurumirim SS from getting a goal against them. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
