Marvai's Armando Corrêa suffered a sore thigh after 14 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 14 minutes into the game, Luizão Velasco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. After 20 played minutes Marvai got a freekick which was hit by Matías Matos. In the 24th minute Bebeto Silveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moisés de Godoy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Didi Pereira took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Waldir Toledo to make any attempt to save it. Bebeto Silveira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pirituba's Moisés de Godoy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Pirituba from getting a goal against them.
