Moisés de Godoy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Baptista in the 12th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Narciso Xavier during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 15th minute, Lino Abraão ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Moisés de Godoy was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Crazy Diamond F.C's Eurico Velasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Didi Pereira in the 18th minute of play. Dadá Mumbach's late challenge caught a Crazy Diamond F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dadá Mumbach helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Pirituba getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Dadá Mumbach hit a great ball. Cipriano Baptista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Moisés de Godoy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Moisés de Godoy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Baptista in the 30th minute of the match. Dagoberto Dante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dagoberto Dante struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Eurico Velasco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pirituba. The supporters of Pirituba booed when Crazy Diamond F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lino Abraão didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

53 minutes in the game, Dagoberto Dante fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Eurico Velasco having to interfere. Moisés de Godoy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Paraibano in the 57th minute of the match. If Cipriano Baptista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vicente Paraibano in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Moisés de Godoy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cipriano Baptista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moisés de Godoy having to interfere. Davi Lucas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 68th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Moisés de Godoy. Pirituba's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Pirituba's Didi Pereira in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Crazy Diamond F.C's goalie prevented a goal. Pirituba's Dagoberto Dante got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pirituba's Dagoberto Dante was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 76th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cipriano Baptista in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Moisés de Godoy saved Pirituba from getting behind. Vicente Paraibano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eurico Velasco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Didi Pereira, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
