Adriano Hermes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ronaldinho Trancoso in the 3rd minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in POA Saint-Germain fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 7th minute. Penalty! In the 11th minute, Amadeu Branco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th minute João Vítor Neiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adriano Hermes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zacarias Valle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinho de Andrade in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinho de Andrade in the 21st minute of play forced Beiju EC's goalkeeper Zacarias Valle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adriano Hermes didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 24th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. 27 minutes into the match, Beiju EC's goal looked a bit too open when Thiago da Cunha came free, but Zacarias Valle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thiago da Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adriano Hermes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Vítor Neiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. If João Vítor Neiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Claudinho de Andrade recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Beiju EC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Amadeu Branco hit a great ball. Tiago Gabriel Monteiro was shown his second yellow card after 40 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Beiju EC's Tiago Gabriel Monteiro got a free kick in the 41st minute. After recieving a nice pass, POA Saint-Germain's Flávio Correia tried to score from far away in the 42nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Zacarias Valle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinho de Andrade in the 44th minute of the match. 44 minutes into the game, POA Saint-Germain's Claudinho de Andrade nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zacarias Valle made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jean Ceresso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thiago da Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Zacarias Valle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Beiju EC's zone, Claudinho de Andrade stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zacarias Valle came out of the goal and Claudinho de Andrade tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Claudinho de Andrade charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Claudinho de Andrade the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Claudinho de Andrade kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Jean Ceresso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Adriano Hermes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute Claudinho de Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Valle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Moisés Moreira's late challenge caught a Beiju EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Moisés Moreira helped the player get up and apologised. Adriano Hermes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jean Ceresso's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Thiago da Cunha came free with the goalkeeper in the 86th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Zacarias Valle could save by the left post. Adriano Hermes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean Ceresso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean Ceresso in the 95th minute of play forced POA Saint-Germain's goalkeeper Adriano Hermes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Beiju EC had won after a very even match.
