Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Luizão Tasso took the kick off in the first half of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Real Mandri's goal looked a bit too open when Luizão Tasso came free, but Emílio Duarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 6th minute, José Paulo Leme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Real Mandri's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Luizão Tasso 16 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Peter-Jan Demarez's late challenge caught a Cacununga's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Peter-Jan Demarez helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Real Mandri's Peter-Jan Demarez got a free kick in the 19th minute. After having played for 21 minutes, Clodoveo Eufrasio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Mandri's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clodoveo Eufrasio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Fabrício Vasconcelos fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cacununga's protests and gave Fabrício Vasconcelos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 22nd minute, Fabrício Vasconcelos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Válter Leal charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Válter Leal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Real Mandri getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Válter Leal hit a great ball. The supporters of Real Mandri booed when Cacununga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dráusio Lopes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dráusio Lopes kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Real Mandri's Clodoveo Eufrasio got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Peter-Jan Demarez struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Hugo Catarinense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Mandri. Clodoveo Eufrasio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Catarinense having to interfere. In the 42nd minute Peter-Jan Demarez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Catarinense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Dráusio Lopes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Clodoveo Eufrasio made a kick off. Clodoveo Eufrasio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Cacununga's Hugo Catarinense got control of the ball when Clodoveo Eufrasio tried to sneak it across the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Cacununga's goalkeeper Hugo Catarinense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Clodoveo Eufrasio. Peter-Jan Demarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Catarinense having to interfere. In the 61st minute, one of Cacununga:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cacununga. 72 minutes into the match, Real Mandri's goal looked a bit too open when Luizão Tasso came free, but Emílio Duarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hugo Catarinense made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Clodoveo Eufrasio sent off a good shot on target. 85 minutes into the game, Peter-Jan Demarez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Hugo Catarinense was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cacununga's Luizão Tasso got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 91 minutes into the match, Real Mandri's goal looked a bit too open when Luizão Tasso came free, but Emílio Duarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Real Mandri's Clodoveo Eufrasio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hugo Catarinense narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match was over Real Mandri could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cacununga throughout the match.
