Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Frank Koehler made the kick off which started today's match. When José Augusto Gerber came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the S.E Palmeiras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Augusto Gerber couldn't finish the play. José Augusto Gerber received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tony Salles came out and tried to block the shot, but José Augusto Gerber slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 5th minute. Faustão Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frank Koehler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Frank Koehler's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sérgio Lopez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Faustão Souza scored 1-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sérgio Lopez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 18th minute Faustão Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio Lopez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sérgio Lopez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Faustão Souza went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Frank Koehler scored 1-3 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sérgio Lopez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 26 minutes into the match, S.E Palmeiras's goal looked a bit too open when Dorian Luz came free, but Sérgio Lopez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frank Koehler might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sérgio Lopez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frank Koehler ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Faustão Souza put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Sérgio Lopez. Sérgio Lopez came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Araraquara SS's Frank Koehler. But to his dismay, Frank Koehler quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. 43 minutes into the game, Araraquara SS's Frank Koehler nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sérgio Lopez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-7. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Koehler in the 48th minute of play forced S.E Palmeiras's goalkeeper Sérgio Lopez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The S.E Palmeiras players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Araraquara SS were winning 1-7.

Sérgio Lopez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emanuel Tande in the 51st minute. If Faustão Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sérgio Lopez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Koehler in the 62nd minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, S.E Palmeiras's goalkeeper Sérgio Lopez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Faustão Souza. With a little luck, S.E Palmeiras's Sérgio Lopez got control of the ball when Faustão Souza tried to sneak it across the goal line. 70 minutes into the game, Frank Koehler recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sérgio Lopez. Frank Koehler showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-8. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Frank Koehler took a quick shot and it went in 1-9 without a chance for Sérgio Lopez to make any attempt to save it. Sérgio Lopez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Koehler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frank Koehler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sérgio Lopez having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Koehler in the 84th minute of play forced S.E Palmeiras's goalkeeper Sérgio Lopez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Faustão Souza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Sérgio Lopez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frank Koehler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sérgio Lopez having to interfere. In the 91st minute Frank Koehler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio Lopez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Araraquara SS's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
