Giovanni Tróia showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when João Vítor Tande got free with Frank Moura in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Raúl Velloso charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raúl Velloso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The long shot by Doni Félix in the 32nd minute really tested Frank Moura's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Vágner Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Doni Félix didn't quite understand what happened when in the 36 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. João Vítor Tande fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frank Moura having to interfere. Gerson Motta was extremely unlucky when he, in the 40th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 40 minutes, Diamantino Lago mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Estremo SC and the Nhamunda FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 40th minute, Diamantino Lago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Estremo SC's Frank Moura proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Estremo SC from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Giovanni Tróia was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Erivaldo de Godoy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estremo SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Erivaldo de Godoy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eugênio Tande breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Agnaldo de Andrade's late challenge caught a Estremo SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Agnaldo de Andrade helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Nhamunda FC's Agnaldo de Andrade got a free kick in the 64th minute. The long shot by Armindo Cardoso in the 65th minute really tested Eugênio Tande's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 69th minute of the match Nhamunda FC got a corner. Estremo SC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Doni Félix ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Nhamunda FC's corner Doni Félix fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Frank Moura quite easily take care of the ball. The supporters of Estremo SC booed when Nhamunda FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Doni Félix didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diamantino Lago's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eugênio Tande read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Gláuber Veloso charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gláuber Veloso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gláuber Veloso hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute Giovanni Tróia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Moura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If João Vítor Tande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
