Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Wellington Machado got the match started through his kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Durval Sena during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After having played for 4 minutes, Falcão Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gaspar FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Falcão Castro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Ricardo Schmidt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gaspar FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricardo Schmidt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Danilo Braga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 9th minute, Tomás Penha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Danilo Braga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Falcão Castro's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. The supporters of Gaspar FC booed when Herval AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Diniz didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Perivaldo Pereira fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gaspar FC's protests and gave Perivaldo Pereira a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Herval AD booed when Gaspar FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Perivaldo Pereira didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Gaspar FC fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when Gaspar FC's Falcão Castro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With an all-out effort, Herval AD's Josué Lago threw himself towards the right post 25 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rui Diniz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Danilo Braga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Falcão Castro in the 27th minute of play. In the 30th minute Ricardo Schmidt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Braga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaspar FC's Josué Lago proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Gaspar FC from getting a goal against them. Rubens Mazza took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Danilo Braga. Herval AD's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Falcão Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute, Zé Roberto Cosme got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Falcão Castro to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Herval AD's zone, Falcão Castro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danilo Braga came out of the goal and Falcão Castro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Danilo Braga came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Gaspar FC's Falcão Castro. But to his dismay, Falcão Castro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Danilo Braga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Falcão Castro in the 65th minute. Falcão Castro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 68thth minute, Danilo Braga skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Gaspar FC were furious when Carlinhos Pombal was red carded, 72 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 72nd match minute, Gaspar FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlinhos Pombal to maneuver through the defense. Josué Lago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wellington Machado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ricardo Schmidt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Roberto Cosme in the 77th minute of play forced Herval AD's goalkeeper Danilo Braga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Gaspar FC booed when Herval AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Durval Sena didn't get a good kick on the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Gaspar FC's Ricardo Schmidt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Danilo Braga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Ricardo Schmidt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gaspar FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricardo Schmidt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Danilo Braga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ricardo Schmidt struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Danilo Braga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gaspar FC. Gaspar FC's Zé Roberto Cosme got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomás Penha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Danilo Braga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Herval AD fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Gaspar FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
